Well, that model didn’t take too long now did it? The Spawn of Cryptus is now complete and I finished it in time for the game I played this past Saturday.

Tyranids- Spawn of Cryptus WIP
After a few months break from Tim the Enchanter I decided it was time to finish the project. The large Tyranid models take a long time to paint and I was growing impatient so I turned my attention to the Spawn of Cryptus from the Shield of Baal Deathstorm set.

Roost 40K Video Battle Report 012 – 1750 points Adeptas Sororitas vs Eldar
It’s time to change it up at the Roost. Dreadtober was dominated with completed projects (YAY!). I published this video battle report a couple of weeks ago on Turkavision. GW West Edmonton Painting Contest Results

Adepta Sororitas- Exorcist Tank
The Adeptas Sororitas, also known as the Sisters of Battle, was on of my first 40K armies (Tyranids is my other). I liked their background as well as the models. Also, hardly anyone plays them so that in itself was another reason to collect the army. I’m glad I started collecting in third edition because the army was affordable back then. I’ll be posting some of the models I first painted and it is clearly evident that there has been some progression in my painting skills. It’s time to show you what heat the Nuns with Guns are packing.

Armies on Parade 2015 – GW West Edmonton

Here’s update number three for my contribution to Dreadtober. I painted over the varnish with the exception of the corners, cracks and crevices. I also applied transfers containing Carcharodons iconography and tribal markings.

Cities of Death- Completed Honoured Imperium Statue
The Honoured Imperium Space Marine statue is complete. I am pleased with the final product. A big shout out to Greggles for his suggestion to use a brown or sepia wash. I had some Ogryn Flesh wash and used it for all the cracks and crevices.

GW West Edmonton Painting Contest

Cities of Death- Hawk Urban Battle Boards WIP Oct 10
I have completed the next step to finishing the Games and Gears Hawk Urban Battle Boards. Each tile has been shaded- grey concrete with Nuln Oil, grass with Coelia Greenshade, and the brick with Agrax Earthshade. The Nuln Oil looks streaky but I have confidence that it will not be an issue when the project is complete.

DreadTober- Carcharodons Ironclad Dreadnought WIP
Greggles of Feed Your Nerd has invited the community to paint up a Dreadnought during the month of October and here is my contribution to the event. I have two Dreadnoughts to paint up. I will start with the Forgeworld Ironclad and fingers crossed I can finish the Siege. This is a busy project month with Armies on Parade coming up soon. DreadTober is a go!
