The Roost of Turkadactyl

Armies on Parade is a week away so it is time to check in on the progress of the Shrine of Aquila.

I applied a green wash in the corners of the gold.  I went with green to match the walls of the walls.  I did a similar thing with the Grey Knights and Sisters.  I used a blue wash with the Sisters and gold armour and purple with the Grey Knights.  It’s a personal preference thing using the same colour of wash.

I drybrushed Mithril Silver on the floors. I bought some Necron Compound after I finished the floors for future projects.  I am coming down to my last couple of pots of Mithril Silver and want it to finish my Grey knights and Sisters.

I used Nuln Oil on the skeletons.  They were then highlighted with Bleached Bone followed by Skull White.

The lamps were based with Altdorf Guard Blue.  I added Skull White for the highlights.

I drybrushed Mechanicus Standard Grey on the floor followed with Dawnstone.  I found a good deal on eBay for more movement trays.  I will use those trays for more base floors for other buildings and for pedways.

The last step is highlights on the gold, which will be for another post.
