GW West Edmonton Painting Contest Results

On October 17 Games Workshop West Edmonton had a painting contest to celebrate two years at its’ new location.  It has taken me a while to post the results because there were a whole lot of Dreadtober updates going on.  So here are the results of what went down.

Podium

This is the first year I have finished on the podium for a single model painting competition.  Woo hoo!  Staff voted this year.

I have one disappointment and it mirrors that of Armies on Parade and that is participation.  In the past this event has brought in loads of participants; not so this year.  There was only one category that had more than three participants and that was for 40K single models.  There were models that were not flocked/based that got on the podium to put it in perspective.  So c’mon Edmonton, come on out and participate next time!

In the meantime here are this years participants.  Photos taken from the GW West Edmonton Facebook page with permission.
