LotR- Mounted Arwen and Mount Nazgul

I have completed the Mounted Arwen and Mounted Nazgul chase for Christmas.  These two models will be a present for my mother in-law.  The Nazgul is a dark model so the highlights do not show up too well in the photos.  I am really pleased with how Arwen turned out.  There were a few layers that went into the horse.

I have been taking photos with a Samsung tablet.  I think I am going to try out using a Canon Rebel DSLR.  The Samsung is old and is showing its age.  I recently purchased a Windows Stream tablet.  I can use the DSLR, upload to my one drive and then photo edit on the Stream.  If the pictures quality improves then so long Samsung.  It’s hard to change.  I like the Snapseed app on the Samsung.  There’s a video app as well that has been easy to use.  I say this because the skin on Arwen and Frodo look odd in the photo.  I’m still new to the hobby blog so as always I am looking to improve my service.  I also owe Greggles some close up shots on Draigo and the Samsung will not do Draigo any justice.  I’m sure the Samsung will add twenty pounds.  DSLR, here I come.  There’s my random thought for the day.  Let’s see some miniatures!
