The hatches to the Stink Sink were popped open today. I took some photos for those who really want to see inside. This is where all the solid human waste goes. Once a month it gets raked and spread out to aid in the composting. In two years time the Stink sink will be emptied and used as fertilizer for the trees in the area. The biggest earthworms that I have ever seen guard the Stink Sink. Be warned the pictures are not pleasant. I know Keith will appreciate this research. I hope he checks in every once in a while.
Here are the contents Dot is hiding:
That is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen, but it’s like a car accident…I couldn’t not look.

I have some close up shots but those ones are really gross. Unless there is a lot of interest in close-ups I think I make have to keep those locked up in the vault until the 20th Anniversary Director’s Cut re-release.

I honestly think I would throw up if I had to do that job…

Thankfully for Dot’s sake there was a good breeze that day. She says that when there is no wind the flies get really bad. As the resident Poopsmith I have to admit that I am intimidated to go in and rake the poop. Amy says I can’t be the Poopsmith if I can’t rake the Stink Sink. We’ll see if I am brave enough in a months time.
