The Badab War YEG- Dave B.’s Executioners WIP

When I started promoting Bad War YEG Dave B. wanted to participate.  He was undecided on the chapter he wanted to play.  It came down to two choices- Mantis Warriors and Executioners.  After much deliberation Dave settled on the Executioners.  A big draw for him was the chance to model and paint Thulsa Kane.  Here is an update from Dave and his progress on his Executioners.

I am going to save the best for last.  Dave started his Executioners with Thulsa Kane.  Dave’s painting has improved tremendously over the years and I have no doubt that this army is going to look very sharp when it is complete.  This army is most certainly going to match up against the Minotaurs in an epic Zone Mortalis game.

I was chatting with someone at work about the time my wife and I volunteered at Camas, a youth outdoor camp located on the Isle of Mull, Scotland.  This was back in 2008.  To make this trip happen we quit our jobs and were out of the country for five months volunteering and site seeing.  It’s a trip we will cherish always.  I was showing some of my old Youtube videos and had some good laughs.  To get an understanding this camp is off the grid.  It is a mile and a half walk from the road.  We had to use wheelbarrows every week to bring our supplies in.  We used propane to power the kitchen.  We had to make our own entertainment and we had a blast.  Here is one of the videos from our experience.  In fact check out the categories section because there is one dedicated to the Cardboard Car.

Monday I will be feature on St Andrews Wargaming Better Know A Blogger.  I highly recommend checking the site out.  The Better Know A Blogger series showcase some fantastic sites and bloggers.  I’m not too sure how I got past security.  I chose a few photos that demonstrate that I don’t take myself too serious.  This video reinforces that.  If you want to attempt to watch some of my other videos then take a chance by clicking here.

  1. Thulsa Kane turned out amazing. That is such an epic model, and so nicely painted!

Doh can’t view the video in the USA. I blame everything.

    • That’s unfortunate about the video. Blame Trump. He wants to build a wall to Canada as well. Guess it’s a firewall. Zing!
