I have chosen to showcase my Rhino’s for the Adepta Sororitas. I have not glued the front cupola, which allows me to switch it out between the Rhino and Immolator guns. I just haven’t gotten around to painting the Immolator turret yet. I used a wide highlight of Burnished Gold and Mithril Silver to cool the gold down. A wide stroke was necessary due to the size of the model.
Right now the Dominions monopolize this ride. I painted the front window hatch white to represent the Dominions. I want them to get to their target fast hence the transport. Battle Sisters and Retributors hold the line. I like the Immolator/Rhino kit. There are a bits that make it stand out from the Space Marine Rhino. It’s versatile too. Just don’t glue the front turret and one can use the Rhino or Immolator when needed.
Here is my second Rhino. This one was painted when I first started getting involved in 40K. There is an obvious difference in painting standard. For those of you who are new to the hobby keep at it. Your painting will improve.
Thankfully I bought a couple more kits before they went the way of the Dodo from Games Workshop’s site. They sit unassembled in a box right now as the call of the Carcharodon is strong.
That looks amazing!

Looking very nice. Have you ever thought about going back to the first rhino and touching it up?

I have and I will. My focus over the last three years has been on Carcharodons and Grey Knights. I have a preference to play with painted models hence all the attention they are getting. I’ll probably turn my attention to painting some Sisters and Tyranids come fall.
