Tyranids – Tim the Dimachaeron WIP May 18

Jerrod and I will be playing Tyranids vs Khorne Daemonkin on Friday and he requested that I put Tim the Enchanter in the list.  I won’t go into the nickname here so check out the first Tim the Dimachaeron WIP post.  Jerrod’s request motivated me to start painting the beast.  On a side note I looked in my bits box for curved horns but alas I have none.  The Balrog horns would be ace as they have the Tim the Enchanter ala Monty Python and the Holy Grail look.  All of the base colours and inks are on.  The next step is the highlights.  I started Tyranids in third edition so I used inks back then.  I sure do miss the inks, especially now that mine are almost out.

You know I hadn’t really seen that angle on the chest before. Man that is gross, well played.
