Happy Thanksgiving With A Dash Of Election

Election day Canada.  Get out an vote.

Mrs. Turkadactyl and I made it to our day off.  Now I get to relax and upload some photos and videos.  this week is going well. The group is from outside Glasgow with the ages ranging from 10-13.  The girls are loving Mrs. T and I have been bonding well with a couple of the boys.  Ian is a big fan of random humour.  Hmmm, that sounds like someone I know.  Tyson, Ian is one step ahead of us with animal creations.  Not only does he merge animals together but he also adds other miscellaneous items.  For example, I combined a crab with Godzilla and the letter P.  Good times.

Some of the kids accents are very tough to understand.  Must be something in the Glasgow water.  The kids talk fast so it takes a lot of effort to understand them.  They are a lot of fun.  Mrs. T and I took them to Iona.  The kids had fun at the ceiledh.  We also played Adam’s ferry game, which involves balancing on one leg.  It is really tough when the waves are high.

Mrs. T and I are now committed to an experiment.  We have both been feeling very fatigued for about a month now.  We think our diet may play a large role in our energy level.  We eat a lot of carbs with bread being the main source of our carbs.  We are going to cut down on our yeast intake and see if that helps out.  The lack of protein may play a role as well.  Due to the high cost for meat as well as a lack of storage capacity we have a vegetarian diet at Camas.  We do not have an adequate protein alternative in our diet.  Hopefully that helps out a bit.

The Dorings mystery parcel arrived today.  In it was some miniature marshamallows and a box of strawberry flavoured mini-wheats.  Mini, take it away:

Even better Justin enclosed a picture of a Turkadactyl.  Even though it is a few weeks late I pronounce Justin the winner.  I am hoping that Carlee is still sending me a Turkadactyl drawing.

Last week Mrs. t and I enjoyed some time off at Iona.  Here are some more Iona photos.

Timbits, one of the Camas resident staff, released a solo album recently.  If you are interested check his site out- Nikko Fir.  I am in the process of uploading a Nikko Fir performance on Turkavision.

I am sure I had more to say but sadly I have forgotten.  It is good to hear that the Flames were spanked 6-0.  too bad it was at the hands of the Canucks.  Go Oilers go!

  2. Hey Alex,

Sounds like Camas needs to add beans or legumes to the diet. Can still go vegetarian and get protein that way. Or get some chickens and collect eggs.

  3. Alex…it looks like you have a very special relationship with that sheep. I particularly like the one of her whispering sweet nothings in your ear. I’m sure it’ll be hard to say goodbye.

  4. The sheep was telling me a really bad joke. Here is what she told me:

What did the cloned sheep say to the other sheep?

    I am ewe.
