I have another Drycha teaser as we draw closer to the end of #MonsterMarch. I was enjoying the photo editing and figured I would take a page out Games Workshops books and release some teaser photos. I hope you enjoy.
Today I give a bit more of a glimpse of Drycha compared to my last post. I’ve intentionally gone sepia to keep some mystery to the final product. There is a lot of vibrant colour on Drycha so I didn’t want to spoil my final post. She still looks intimidating mind you.
I’ve been wanting to try the above effect for a while but didn’t have the right model. This effect flips the models and makes the duplicate transparent. The psychadelic effect suits the craziness and unpredictability of Drycha.
Be sure to click on the link above to check out the other #MonsterMarch projects. The link will take you to Path of an Outcast where Swordmaster initiated the painting challenge to paint a monster over the month of March. Projects are wrapping up so cheer the participants onto the finish line.
Thanks for reading

Ya big tease! Some of your WIP shots really look stunning so the finished product should be something to see!

I hope so. I think it’s my best Sylvaneth model yet but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

What app did you use for the effect?

Using my wife’s old iPhone. It may be the 5. I don’t keep up with all the model numbers. I’m a rare breed. I don’t have a cell phone, well one with a SIM card in it.
I edit photos with the photo editing software that comes with the camera. For the special effect pictures I use Hipstamatic. There’s a lot of neat stuff on it. I think it will suit the photos you post. I don’t know how much it costs. My wife takes a lot of pictures so that app was already installed when I inherited the phone.

I particularly like the (giant) bee comb shoulders.

That was the part I was looking forward to painting the most.
