The Roost of Turkadactyl

Here’s my first recorded battle report.  Nik and I duked it out with 1500 points.  I played grey Knights versus Nik’s Killer Klowns From Outer Space (aka Harlequin’s).  It was a fun match and we want to have the two lists square up against each other again.  Thanks to Nik for his patience with the filming.  It delayed the game a bit and Nik was a good sport about it.  On another note I played a 1250 point game Grey Knights and Assassins vs Tau.  I haven’t played with Assassins for a long time and it sure was fun to pull those models out again.  Mackenzie, the Tau player, has some more models to hate along with my Dreadknight.  Sadly, no report for that game.

Let me know what you think.  I plan on doing more.  Sadly that is the best picture quality I can pull out of the tablet.

Here’s a highlight from the game.

I tried a high risk high reward move.  With the First to the Fray Warlord trait and a maelstrom card that gave me D3 victory points for being 12″ within Nik’s board edge I went for broke.  The only highlight from shooting is one of Nik’s units had soul blaze for half the game, which was my man of the match.  The dice roll above was the Solitaires saving throws.  Slow clap for Nik.
