Cities of Death- Completed Shrine of Aquila

The Shrine is complete and I will use it for my Armies on Parade display.  It will also be good to have painted terrain for games now.

The final step was highlighting the gold.  There’s a bit of gold so it took a bit of time to finish the highlights.  I mixed Burnished Gold with Mithril Silver to highlight the edges.

The next time I post photos of the Shrine it will be accompanied with some Grey Knights.  Are you participating in Armies on Parade?  What do you plan on entering?

Hey there, what did you use for the base? It finishes the project off perfectly.

MDF for the base. I used Warhammer Fantasy movements trays for the tile look on top of the MDF. Citadel texture paint for the dirt.
