Loth is all done now. I have added highlights from the last update. I’ll have to come up with a new name because there is no way Loth would be accepted amongst the Carcharodons. His skin is not pale enough.
This model was a blast to paint. There is a lot Forgeworld detail to it. It also not too time consuming due to its size. I painted the steel slab black and drybrushed Necron Compound only to have it look like my original. Forgeworld painted the lightning on the axe. I tried that and I was not happy with the results. Instead I stuck with the purple and white and was happier with that result. James obliged me and let me use the Loth rules for a game and they are good. The only damage that happened to Loth that game was from perils. I also kept Loth as far as away as possible from the Wulfen.
Loth and Honour Guard were the models that inspired me to start a Space Marine army and now they are done. Tyberos inspired me to start the Carcharodons. Sounds like some good team work to me.
He looks very nice. Glad you got him sorted and finished.

Have you thought about moving to Disqus for your commenting system? It seems to be used on a lot of blogs these days.

I’ve looked into it. WordPress does not allow Disqus at the moment. If you know about another WordPress site that is using it let me know. I’m curious to know how they circumvented it.

Love the Carcharodons you have, it is like looking into a mirror at my Relictors, grey marines everywhere, yours have Sharks I have Skulls on the Pauldrons! Your Centurions look like brothers of mine ha! Great stuff, good to see so many grey marines (and a splattering of Blue Libbys, love the Sevrin Loth – or whatever shark related name you bless him with!

Wow, they are a mirror image apart from the icons. I’ll have to look at the characters in Jaws and see what name sounds like the most 40K like.
